    Counsel #16 — Workplace Etiquette

    Picture: Counsel #16 — Workplace EtiquetteCR 345.1

If you’ve ever attended a wedding, it’s hard to believe that you’d ever show up belligerently drunk or smelling like you haven’t showered in days. Why? Because the occasion deserves respect, and how you present yourself communicates value to the people around you. The same principle applies in the workplace.CR 345.2

Workplace etiquette extends far beyond than table manners and email signatures. It’s about living with integrity in a setting where deadlines, personalities, and pressures constantly collide. The Bible reminds us that daily work habits, communication, and even how you respond when things don’t go your way should all be done according to His glory. Practical etiquette looks like showing up on time, listening before speaking, avoiding gossip, and carrying your share of responsibility. For Christians, etiquette isn’t about empty politeness. It’s about showing Christ in the details. When you carry yourself with humility, patience, and consistency, you make your faith visible without a single sermon. Just like you’d “dress up” for a wedding, dress your daily workplace actions with respect and love.[361] https://www.absorblms.com/blog/workplace-etiquette-30-golden-rules/ CR 345.3
