The Bible teaches that there is a heaven to win, and a hell to shun. Many people hope to “be saved” and go to heaven, but they may be uncertain about their own salvation status. God wants everyone who has accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord to have assurance that they are saved.^{[1]https://www.adventistworld.org/assurance-of-salvation/}CSL 3.2
