    Counsel #1 — Blessed Assurance

    Picture: Counsel #1 — Blessed AssuranceCSL 3.1

The Bible teaches that there is a heaven to win, and a hell to shun. Many people hope to “be saved” and go to heaven, but they may be uncertain about their own salvation status. God wants everyone who has accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord to have assurance that they are saved.[1]https://www.adventistworld.org/assurance-of-salvation/CSL 3.2

“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.” 1 John 5:13 NKJV (emphasis supplied)CSL 3.3

“It is your privilege to trust in the love of Jesus for salvation, in the fullest, surest, noblest manner; to say, He loves me, He receives me; I will trust Him for He gave His life for me.… He declares, ‘Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out;’ that is, there is no possibility of My casting him out, for I have pledged My word to receive him. Take Christ at His word, and let your lips declare that you have gained the victory.” Ellen G White in Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, p. 517CSL 3.4
