When you recognize that you need the presence of Christ every moment, Satan will have little opportunity to overwhelm you with his temptations. Prayer is the holiest of spiritual disciplines. Just imagine the desires of your heart breathed into the actual presence of the Divine! Like Isaiah, when you see in your mind’s eye the glorious presence of Jesus, your whole being will long for cleansing and transformation into His likeness (see Isaiah 6:1-9).CSL 64.3
