    Counsel #2 — Finance Management

    Picture: Counsel #2 — Finance ManagementCMH 52.1

To help avoid financial difficulties as a young adult, good stewardship[54]The word “stewardship” conveys the idea of managing resources, both natural and financial, with a sense of responsibility, mindfulness, and care for the present and future well-being of all society. is an essential lifestyle practice. The Bible explains that everything we own is a gift from God, and that it is our duty to treat His resources wisely and responsibly (Matthew 25:14-30). Giving God control over your worries and anxieties is a necessary part of placing your faith in Him, even though it does not mean remaining passive. Make a workable plan to handle your finances and seek wise advice from dependable mentors or financial advisors.[55]https://stewardship.adventist.org/management-of-personal-finance Recall that God frequently uses our efforts for His own purposes, so act in faith and confidence knowing that He will direct your steps.CMH 52.2
