    Counsel #13 — Don’t Miss It!

    Picture: Counsel #13 — Don’T Miss It!CMH 95.1

Make a daily appointment with God and do all in your power to not miss it. He treasures that alone time with you and yearns for fellowship together, the chance to speak His mysteries to you personally. Think of it like this: God the Father gave up His Son on Calvary’s cross so that the Spirit can bring us into relationship with the Eternal Godhead—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! Coming into relationship with God is a sacred privilege to be prioritized every day.[97]https://www.ministrymagazine.org/archive/1989/07/how-are-you-keeping-your-appointments-with-godCMH 95.2

“My heart has heard you say, ‘Come and talk to me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’” Psalms 27:8 NLTCMH 95.3

“If we come to [God] in faith, He will speak His mysteries to us personally. Our hearts will often burn within us as One draws nigh to commune with us as He did with Enoch. Those who decide to do nothing in any line that will displease God will know, after presenting their case before Him, just what course to pursue. And they will receive not only wisdom, but strength.” Ellen White in The Review and Herald, July 14, 1910, par. 7CMH 95.4

Reflect: In what ways has God spoken His mysteries to you personally? How could you open your heart to hear His voice more clearly?CMH 95.5
