    Counsel #7 — Confession

    Picture: Counsel #7 — ConfessionCMH 89.1

Confession is a vital component of our alone time with God. In prayer, we can ask God to reveal our selfishness, our impatience, our impurity, our lack of trust in His way and will. Be specific in confession! For instance, we can confess our lack of self-control in appetite and our waste of the precious commodity of time, asking for Christ’s power to enable us to overcome in our areas of weakness. Then we can communicate openly and freely with God without the barrier of unconfessed sin (see Isaiah 59:1, 2).[91]https://ilford.adventistchurch.org.uk/bibleinfo_topics/confession#:~:text=It's%20in%20the%20Bible%2C%20I,Nehemiah%209%3A3%2C%20NIV.CMH 89.2
