Picture: Counsel #27 — The Millennium And The End Of SinCCL 37.1

The millennium refers to the 1,000-year reign of Christ with His followers in heaven, following His second coming. During this time, the redeemed will confirm the judgment of the wicked who are dead, still laying in their graves.[57]1 Corinthians 6:2, 3; Revelation 20:12 Earth will be completely uninhabited, a wasteland left to Satan and his demons.CCL 37.2

At the end of the millennium, Christ along with His followers and the holy city will descend from heaven to earth.[58]Revelation 21:2 The unrighteous dead will then be resurrected[59]Revelation 20:5 and, joining forces with Satan and his fallen angels, will surround the city.[60]Revelation 20:7-10 But God's fire will rain down, consuming them and purifying the earth forever.[61]https://ssnet.org/blog/10-the-fires-of-hell-hopess-video-discussion/ This will mark the final removal of sin and sinners from the entire universe.[62]https://www.adventist.org/millennium-and-the-end-of-sin/CCL 37.3
