Counsel #1 — Social Justice Overview

Picture: Counsel #1 — Social Justice OverviewCSI 3.1

Social justice advocates for the rights of every individual; including equitable political and economic opportunities. As Christians, we can and should support principles of equity, access, participation, and respect, aiming to create a society that honors each person as created in the image of God. Our pursuit of justice can take various forms, including activism, policy change, education, and community organizing. Ultimately, the goal is to achieve full and equal participation for all groups in society, while sharing God with them in ways that are winsome to His kingdom and meaningful to each person. Jesus loves the next person as much as He loves you, and He desires that we show His love by being inclusive and fair to everyone in society.[1]https://www.adventistworld.org/in-north-america-conscience-and-justice-council-educates-and-empowers/CSI 3.2
