Both the Bible and God’s prophetic messenger, Ellen White, indicate that shortly before the coming of Jesus, the Spirit of the Lord will be withdrawn from the world, freeing Satan to encompass the world in calamities and disasters. To accomplish his nefarious purpose to ruin God’s creation, Satan enlists human partnership to destroy the earth through excessive materialism and disregard of earth’s resources, driven by greed.CSI 109.2
