    Counsel #1 — Ideal Scenario

    Picture: Counsel #1 — Ideal ScenarioCSI 129.1

If each person consistently made healthy choices that honor God, there would be a greatly reduced need for health care. In an ideal world, if someone did need health care services, they would have ready access to excellent care regardless of their income, race, employment status or health history.CSI 129.2

Ideally, human beings would focus on maintaining optimum physical and spiritual health to prevent illness and injury, rather than just a pharmaceutical or technological response to illness motivated by greed. Healthcare providers would be caring and compassionate, and treatment would be integrated with other social and spiritual services, such as housing, moral education, and employment.[178]https://www.nadadventist.org/news/adventist-health-leads-movement-improve-well-beingCSI 129.3
