Our contemporary culture operates on the premise that individuals can only be authentic when acting out personal desires and feelings independent of social constructs, religious teachings or even the primary characteristics of their physical bodies.CI 62.3

Satan, on the other hand, seeks our misery and ultimate destruction by distorting our emotions, feelings, and perceptions.
