    Counsel #4 — Feminine Confidence

    Picture: Counsel #4 — Feminine ConfidenceCI 69.1

Femininity includes confidence in who you are as a valued daughter of God. In Genesis 3:20 Adam called Eve the “mother of all living” even though she hadn’t had any children yet. Woman’s femininity provides a metaphorical refuge to those in need of one, making them feel comfortable, nurtured, and at home in her presence, whether the she is a mother or not.[67]https://www.ministrymagazine.org/archive/1972/09/the-role-of-the-adventist-womanCI 69.2

“For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; [m]arvelous are Your works, [a]nd that my soul knows very well.” Psalms 139:13, 14 NKJVCI 69.3

“Jesus loves you, and He has given me a message for you. His great heart of infinite tenderness yearns over you. He sends you the message that you may recover yourself from the snare of the enemy. You may regain your self-respect. You may stand where you regard yourself, not as a failure, but as a conqueror, in and through the uplifting influence of the Spirit of God. Take hold of the hand of Christ, and do not let it go.” Ellen White in Daughters of God, p. 142CI 69.4

Reflect: As a female, does your confidence in your status as a treasured daughter of God help you to nurture and care for others? CI 69.5
