Satan’s first temptation in the Garden of Eden related to appetite (Genesis 3). The first temptation Satan presented to Jesus in the wilderness also centered on appetite (Matthew 4:1-11). Perhaps, if, with God’s help and strength, we can overcome Satan’s influence on our appetites, all other temptations will be easier to withstand.^{[12]https://adventistreview.org/magazine-article/eating-in-the-end-time/}CI 14.2

“Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20 NKJVCI 14.3
