Christians often debate which genres of music are acceptable. A more important question is whether or not the music honors and glorifies God.^{[68]https://gc.adventist.org/guidelines/a-seventh-day-adventist-philosophy-of-music/} Not all religious music honors God and not all secular music is degrading.CLi 75.2

Choose to play, sing, or listen to positive music. Music, like other media, “feeds” your mind. Think about the messages you want to dwell on and the character you want to develop.CLi 75.3
