    Picture: Counsel #5 — Victory In Jesus!CLi 121.1

Following Jesus is a beautiful journey of transformation. As you open your heart to Him, He gently begins to reshape you into the person He created you to be. This doesn't mean the change always happens overnight. It's natural to find yourself slipping back into old habits, like thinking (or even speaking) curse words, even after making a commitment to God. Don't let this discourage you! Breaking bad habits takes time and effort.CLi 121.2

The important thing is to keep moving forward. When you find yourself swearing, don't give up. Instead, turn again to God and ask for His help.CLi 121.3

As you continue to pray and believe, God will faithfully complete the good work He's begun in you. This journey requires both fervent prayer. unwavering faith, and active choice. The more you rely on Him, the stronger you'll become in resisting temptation and living a life that reflects His love.[114]https://adventistreview.org/magazine-article/2101-60/CLi 121.4
