    Counsel #1 — Morally Neutral

    Picture: Counsel #1 — Morally NeutralCLi 80.1

Media is morally neutral. Moral value is attached to the media’s content. Content must be evaluated based on principles—general moral rules of conduct or thinking that are the same in every age and every culture. If the content glorifies or promotes or glamorizes sin, such as adultery, profanity, violence, lying, cheating, or stealing, the content is without moral value.[72]https://www.askanadventistfriend.com/adventist-culture/how-do-adventists-make-movie-and-music-choices/CLi 80.2

“We have a work to do to resist temptation. Those who would not fall a prey to Satan’s devices must guard well the avenues of the soul; they must avoid reading, seeing, or hearing that which will suggest impure thoughts.” Ellen White in My Life Today, p. 85CLi 80.5
