    Counsel #3 — Stay Positive

    Picture: Counsel #3 — Stay PositiveCR 5.1

Stay positive even when it’s difficult. Smile! Cultivate cheerfulness.[3]https://interamerica.org/2020/04/your-attitude-matters/CR 5.2

Many of your peers are struggling with depression, anxiety, and fear, longing for stability in all the chaos and uncertainty of our current environment.  Maybe you are as well. But if you invite Jesus to be your Burden-bearer, He will give you the strength and peace that you and so many others crave. You can become a rock of encouragement and strength to your anxiety-ridden peers. As those around you observe your calm manner, they may ask how you manage to remain positive and serene.  What an opportunity to point them to Jesus, who longs to give them peace also!CR 5.3

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NKJVCR 5.4

“The only way to avoid worry is to take every trouble to Christ. Let us not look on the dark side. Let us cultivate cheerfulness of spirit.” Ellen White in Mind, Character, and Personality, vol. 2, p. 466.1CR 5.5

Reflect: Is your life consumed by worry and anxiety, or have you learned to leave your burdens and fears with Jesus?CR 5.6
