Picture: Counsel #6 — Hygiene and HealthCR 93.1

Practice good hygiene and grooming. Shower! Make efforts to stay active, fit, and healthy. Take care of yourself and be intentional about your physical health, cleanliness, and appearance.CR 93.2

If overeating, under exercising, binge-watching TV, doomscrolling on social media, or other health destroying habits seem unconquerable, pray about it. Tell God you can’t stop these bad habits in your own strength, and you need His help. Invite your spouse or someone close to pray with you and be your support and encouragement as you and God improve your lifestyle.[89]https://www.focusonthefamily.com/marriage/healthy-individuals-create-healthy-marriages/CR 93.3

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
    1 Corinthians 10:31 NKJV
    CR 93.4

“To keep the body in a healthy condition, in order that all parts of the living machinery may act harmoniously, should be a study of our life. The children of God cannot glorify Him with sickly bodies or dwarfed minds. Those who indulge in any species of intemperance, either in eating or drinking, waste their physical energies and weaken moral power.” Ellen White in Counsels on Diet and Foods, p. 18CR 93.5

Reflect: What choices could you make that would give you better overall health?CR 93.6
