    Picture: Counsel #16 — Work-Family HarmonyCR 127.1

The most harmful mindset regarding balancing family and work responsibilities is thinking you don’t need a set routine or schedule. While work may be essential for financial stability, it’s important to mentally separate your work life from home life.CR 127.2

God calls us to prioritize our lives wisely, with Him at the center. By bringing our stresses to God and seeking His guidance, we can discern what truly matters, say no to distractions that may pull us away from family, and better understand our needs versus our wants.CR 127.3

As Christians, setting healthy boundaries helps us manage our workload while ensuring quality time with family. Establishing these boundaries allows us to be more intentional about our time, focusing on what God values—our faith, family, and well-being—rather than getting consumed by endless tasks and commitments.[121]https://www.adventistresearch.info/juggling-act-balancing-your-spiritual-and-daily-life-0/CR 127.4

““I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIVCR 127.5

“The first work to be done in a Christian home is to see that the Spirit of Christ abides there, that every member of the household may be able to take his cross and follow where Jesus leads the way.” Ellen White in The Adventist Home, p. 2CR 127.6
