Counsel #21 — Daily Worship Habit

Picture: Counsel #21 — Daily Worship HabitCWe 31.1

Having a daily worship routine to connect with God is imperative for an unwavering faith life. It’s important to realize how much harder life will be disconnected from God, as He is our only sure Source of protection in a world where pain, devastation, betrayal, and heartache are inevitable.CWe 31.2

Personal worship looks different for each person, but the foundation of the process always needs to include some variety of prayer, scripture memorization, and Bible reading. If you want to get creative, you can even add a component of journaling, where you write to God about what’s on your heart. In addition, listening to sermons and Christian music, or even serving others, can count as a part of your daily worship of God. Although the routine may differ per person, the purpose remains the same: fully submitting our desires, plans, mind, body, and spirit to God’s sovereignty and will. Always remember that daily worship shifts your focus from life’s stresses to God’s faithfulness and love, reminding you of His power and provision, which will give you peace and strength to face all challenges.[34]https://stewardship.adventist.org/page506CWe 31.3
