Picture: Counsel #10 — Breaking Bad HabitsCWe 57.1

The Bible acknowledges our struggle with sin, often manifesting as bad habits that hold us back from living our best lives. These habits, fueled by our fallen nature, can distance us from God's purpose. But the Christian perspective offers hope and practical steps to break free:CWe 57.2

  • Acknowledge the problem by self-assessment. Psalms 139:23, 24
  • Seek God’s strength for lasting change. Philippians 4:13
  • Replace bad habits with good ones. Colossians 3:9
  • Develop a support group. Proverbs 27:17
  • There may be setbacks, but God's grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). By relying on His strength, seeking guidance, and replacing bad habits with good ones, you can experience the freedom and joy of living a life that reflects God's purpose for you.[69]https://sharonor.adventistchurch.org/blog/the-guide-to-making-good-daily-habits-and-breaking-bad-onesCWe 57.3
