Counsel #28 — Body Knows Best

Picture: Counsel #28 — Body Knows BestCWe 98.1

Keeping up with a consistent exercise routine requires both medical advice and listening to the signals your body gives off during or after a workout. If you're new to working out, you should consult a doctor regarding any possible preexisting conditions that could bring harm to your body while exercising.CWe 98.2

If you are consistently active and have solidified an effective workout routine, pay close attention to your body as you’re working out. If you experience symptoms such as chest pains, shortness of breath, dizziness, or sharp pain that comes on suddenly, it may be an indication that you are pushing yourself too hard and may need to adjust your routine or seek immediate medical attention. Before working out, make sure you add a warm-up component that includes stretches to help prevent injury and muscle damage. If you make sure you stay hydrated, eat healthy, and rest for proper recovery, you will reap the physical benefits that come with consistency.[110]https://www.adventisthealth.org/blog/2021/december/keep-the-gain-lose-the-pain/CWe 98.3
